59. That's the reason we kind of exist. It's like our Job. To give to each other. And learn from each other. To capture moments of people. So it's really strange to have somebody ignore the obvious human being right in front of them.

60. Save one-third, live on one-third, and give away one-third.

61. There doesn't need to be a God for me. There's something in people that's spiritual, that's godlike. I don't feel like doing things just because people say things, but I also don't really know if it's better to just not believe in anything, either.

62. I’m still having trouble convincing Pax that underwear and pants go together - underwear is not pants!

63. Nothing wins more hearts and minds and nothing gives more freedom than education and nothing is a better deterrent for conflict than an educated child.

64. I'm terrible at reading scripts. I love to read and I hate reading scripts. Brad reads a lot because he's also producing. We're always joking about the fact that I just hate it. I have no patience. I can't watch movies either.

65. We both like to ride motorcycles, we both like to fly planes, that's the spirited side of us. Then the other side of us is very focused on silly mommy-daddy things. So I guess that's extremes, but I just think of that as balance.

66. On weekends we usually have family sleep. We always have one night a week where everybody stays up late, watches a movie, and stays in our bed. We have, like, a slumber party.

67. My mom wasn't big on cooking, so we'd go to Vegas sometimes and go to buffets and just have a big adventure. We took it as a time to have an experience together more than things or food. That's probably why I travel with my kids.

68. (on her split from husband Billy Bob Thornton) I'm angry. I'm sad. It's a very difficult and sad time. It was a real deep connection, a deep marriage, so it's not that simple to say this or that one thing caused the problems. It's clear to me that our priorities shifted overnight. He's focused on his music and career. I'm focused on my baby. It comes down to what's important to you.

69. I'll make it real simple, I'm a 36-C. In the game, she's a double-D. In the movie (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)) she's a D. We split the difference . . . (Lara) is much more athletic, and she has smaller breasts, but she's still Lara Croft, so there.

70. (on the superficiality of the industry) We are setting an example of what we think is beautiful and you really want to put that much make up on me?

71. I'm drawn to kids that are already born. I think some people are meant to do certain things, and I believe I'm meant to find my children in the world somewhere and not necessarily have them genetically. (2002)

72. Not many people know this about me but I'm a natural blonde. My hair went from light blonde naturally to a darker kind of blonde. My mother dyed my hair dark when I was a child as I loved the look then. So I'm basically a natural blonde.

73. Regarding the possibility of marriage with her current beau and father of her child, Brad Pitt) We have both been married before so it's not marriage that necessarily kept some people together.

74. (CNN International Edition 29th January, 2005) My role as goodwill ambassador has made my work as a film star relatively dull. I can't find anything that interests me enough to go back to work. I'm simply not excited about anything. I'm not excited about going to a film set.

75. (on playing Olympias in Alexander (2004)) I felt that if I lived at that time, with the dangers she had and the threats she had and the lack of power she had as a woman, I would not have been that different from her. And I thought I also just saw her as a mother who really would push her son at a time that if he didn't get the throne, he didn't acquire a certain kind of strength and ability and greatness, he would probably just die or be killed or be exiled. So out of concern, out of love for your own, just to come from this place that seems very much like the horrible mafia father, but in fact it was for his own survival that she was focused on, which made it very easy for me to focus on thinking of my own son and what he had to do to protect himself from bad things that could hurt him.

76. If you don't get out of the box you've been raised in, you won't understand how much bigger the world is.

77. (interview with Ann Curry) I'm in a strange, I suppose, place in my life. I think that happens when you lose a parent, where you drop into a different kind of serious. And yet, at the same time, you want to laugh and enjoy as much as possible every day. I'm hanging on to my family really tight at this moment, and, because of that, trying to be as good a woman as I can be in my life. Dammit, you got me crying.

78. It's alright. It's a part of life . . . I lost my mom. It's a natural thing for a child to lose a parent. I lost my mom too young, but it happened. And I'm happy she's out of pain, because I love her and she's my friend.

79. (on making action movies) I think there's always going to be that side of me. (Harrison Ford) is doing it, and he's doing it well, (so) it looks like I've got some more time.

80. I was actually quite a cool kid. I was not tough. I was certainly independent and bold. I was never teased. I never had any trouble from anybody. ... I was never satisfied. I had trouble sleeping. I didn't really fit. I always feel that I'm searching for something deeper, something more... You want to meet other people that challenge you with ideas or with power or with passion. I wanted to live very fully. I wanted to live many lives and explore many things.

81. (on Brad Pitt) (He made me) a better person. I've learned so much from him, as you do when you come together with another person. You both make each other better. You both learn about the best of each other, and recognize the things where you're failing, or where you need to step up. When it's a great partnership, you really are patient with each other.

82. (on Cambodia and her humanitarian work) - One of the first camps I went to had 400,000 people. It was a sea of human misery. In Sierra Leone, I saw tens of thousands with their arms and legs cut off (by rebels), orphaned children. I felt completely overwhelmed. I cried constantly. I felt guilty for everything that I had. Then I realized I wasn't doing these people any favors by crying. I kept getting angry at the injustices until I couldn't think straight. I took a deep breath and focused on how I could help. I discovered that I was useful as a person. When I met suffering people, it put my life into perspective. It slammed me into a bigger picture of the world.

83. I grew up in front of everybody, really. The big years of exploration. There was a certain madness I was going through. I learned a lot about myself. People tend to sum up times in your life and simplify. I would say there's a way of being bold when you're young that seems very brave... What's perceived as tough is a very funny thing. I think to be a parent is one of the scariest, boldest things to do, as opposed to, um, getting a tattoo... Much more than jumping into a pool when you're 20.

84. When I first read the script for Changeling (2008), I couldn't put it down but then I said 'no' immediately. I didn't want to go into this project because it was too upsetting. But then afterwards I couldn't stop talking about her. I found myself sitting with people wanting them to know about this extraordinary woman and you wouldn't believe what happened to her, and what these people did to her in this time in our history. In the end, it became a story about democracy in action, about justice...even suffering a great loss and fighting through it and making a change for the future for other people, and questioning the government and the police. So, I found it very inspiring and really wanted people to know about her and felt like it was an extra piece of justice for her.

85. (on her friendship with Gwen Stefani and their children spending time together) All of the kids are very close in age. They've attended each other's birthday parties and gotten together several times at each other's homes. Somehow Gwen and I keep ending up pregnant at the exact same time.

86. It was nice for me to play with other girls; I don't really have girlfriends in movies, if you've noticed. Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just... I stay at home a lot. I'm just not very social. I don't do a lot with them, and I'm very homebound. I'll talk to my family, I talk to Brad... But I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to.

87. About Johnny Depp: He's just such a nice guy. He's so funny and so fun to hang out with. He's just that friend you're so happy to come to work and do scenes with. Plus, he's such a brilliant actor. He's often thought of so much for his deep character work, but it really comes from an artist who is willing to try things. He's not just somebody who's doing these fun (movies); he's a real experimental deeply-feeling artist, who gives a lot and is very gracious on set to everybody and to his fellow actors. He's just a pleasure.

1. Everyone has to make their own decisions. I still believe in that. You just have to be able to accept the consequences without complaining.

2. Use, don't abuse.

3. Models are there to look like mannequins, not like real people. Art and illusion are supposed to be fantasy.

4. Now when I enter a carriage, it almost empties. But there's always one brave enough to stay.

5. I've always been a rebel. I never do things the way they're supposed to be done. Either I go in the opposite direction or I create a new direction for myself, regardless of what the rules are or what society says.

6. Men are terrified of me. I can easily step into the man's shoe, and that puts the man in a position where he has to become the female. That's what sets off the tension. But my image is supposed to frighten men - so only the good ones come through.

7. After I left home I realized that I was not myself. When does one decide to be oneself? I think that's what it all comes down to. I decided first to discover life and then decide what I wanted from life - what made me happy, what was easy for me. You see, whatever one is, one must first know the truth about oneself.

8. Photographers often meet me and say: "I still haven't seen a picture of you that looks like you", as if they feel they are the one to do it. Perhaps the ability to see oneself through someone else's eyes is a kind of sixth sense. All I know is that photographers can get totally carried away and shoot until six or seven in the morning. My word, I almost killed Jarelle at age 83. He acted like he'd had a shot of adrenaline.

9. As a model one is forced to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror and I just started to freak out, like I was going on the other side of the mirror. I moved every mirror out of my house when I stopped modeling.

10. I believe in having certain releases, certain outlets. One has to indulge. If you don't indulge you don't live - might as well be dead. I believe in indulging as a user and not as an abuser.

11. I enjoyed fame as a model but music was my inspiration. I began singing at parties, on table-tops in Paris, and someone saw a chance of making some money. So I quess I got lucky.

12. It doesn't surprise me that people can't see beyond my image. It's amazing but I can understand it. That's what image is for. But it's never a problem for me. It's only a problem for them. I don't really care. I do what I want regardless.

13. My look is for girls on the run. I'm always in a hurry. For me, sunglasses are eye make-up, even at night. Half of my face is sunglasses, the other half is lips - I use four colors to do my lips. My other trademark I suppose is the hood.

14. I'm so old spiritually. I feel I've already lived a very long time. I always thought I would die young. I've already passed the age I thought I would die at.

15. Society changes. We still say "sex, drugs and rock and roll" and yet I go to a private party and feel I have to ask permission to smoke a cigarette. I don't, of course. I'm not going to put that pressure on myself. If someone has problem they can come and tell me.

16. Some times one just has to - with a conscience - do things because we're human that aren't necessarily god-like. I don't believe in doing something to hurt. But I'm a free spirit. Where is the wrong? How do I put a limit to freedom? What does it mean: "scandal"? For someone else is, not a scandal for me. I can do anything.

17. Forget health clinics and gyms. Sex is the best cure. One good night of sex and your problems are gone.

18. I communicate with my soul rather than my color, so I don't carry any chip on my shoulder about race. I could easily play a white girl. Why shouldn't I? I don't feel especially "black". I am beyond race. I can do them all.

19. People have often mistaken me for a man. But I am all woman to me! But what's a woman supposed to feel like? I like hard things. I like soft things. I go feminine, I go masculine. I change roles in life. I am both!

20. I was born to be a star. Once I decided to accept that responsibility I would not be placed in any mold that was limiting again.

21. I can't run out of different ideas. I am different. When can I run out of me?

Meryl Streep College

To contact us Click HERE
Meryl Streep spent a term at Dartmouth through the 12-college exchange while a student at Vassar College.

Streep was one of the first women ever to attend Dartmouth while the school was still all male.

It has to be noted that Meryl Streep came to Dartmouth during the fall of her senior year at Vassar after hearing about the reputation of the College's drama department.

"I heard of (former drama professor and department chair) Rod Alexander," Meryl claimed. "I met some kids from Dartmouth who came to Vassar, and they seemed pretty cool."

"Part of the lure of Dartmouth was that I could take a full course of study and have three and a half weeks vacations," Streep was quoted as saying, referring to the D-plan's variance from a normal semester college system.

Streep found herself enjoying Hanover in the fall. "I enjoyed it a lot," Streep admitted.

Streep attributes the higher grades she got at Dartmouth to a general sense that everyone was going on to law school or business school and needed the boost.

"Dartmouth was the only time in my life when I got all As," Streep revealed. "I think the faculty at Vassar wanted you to know the meaning of a B+."

Streep herself was heading for drama school, finally, and did not appear bothered by numerical grades. She spent much of her time honing her acting skills.

At Dartmouth, Meryl took a playwrighting class with legendary drama professor Errol Hill.

"Every week we studied a different period of drama history and designed countless numbers of costumes for each one," Streep recalled. "It was one of my favorite courses."

"I was sustained just by the beauty of Dartmouth," Streep continued.

"It was very interesting to feel something proprietary about the school. I felt like a Dartmouth student," Streep declared, though male students often disagree with her.

On the other hand, Streep admitted: "The social life was ridiculous," noting the stranglehold of the fraternities on the nightlife was not much different than it is today.

Needless to say that Streep was not happy at all with the fraternity system.

"I went over to that row once in a while," Streep joked about her experiences with fraternities on Webster Avenue. "It was interesting to me to see the (other) girls bust into houses like cattle to the slaughter."

Streep revealed: "I wish I went to Dartmouth now ... or maybe five years from now," alluding to the Trustees' Student Life Initiative which has a preliminary implementation timeline of five years.

Streep remembers a very different Dartmouth. The ratio of men to women was over 50 to 1 in the fall of 1970. She stated she remembers an overtone of animosity toward the female students.

"They really didn't want us here," Streep said of the male students. "There was an us and them feel to campus."

Streep admits that she is grateful to Dartmouth because it helped her build self confidence, among other things.

When asked about the plays she was in, Meryl claimed she did not remember being in one while she was at the College!

After graduating from Vassar in the spring of 1971, Streep came back to the Upper Valley to be with her boyfriend at the time, who was starting at the Dartmouth Medical School.

Streep lived in Norwich, Vt. for the next year, acting with the Green Mountain Guild in Quechee, Vt. She waited tables at the Hanover Inn to augment the low pay of the theater business.

The following summer, while continuing to act and wait tables, Meryl applied to the Yale University School of Drama. She received a scholarship to attend and enrolled that fall.

After Yale, the rest is history...

Lindsay Lohan Etrade Commercial

To contact us Click HERE
Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against the financial company E-Trade, insisting that a boyfriend-stealing "milkaholic" baby in its latest commercial, who is coincidentally named Lindsay, was modeled after her. According to "The Post", she demanded $100 million for her pain and suffering.

Lindsay filed a lawsuit in Nassau County Supreme Court over the Etrade commercial that debuted during the "Super Bowl".

The commercial, part of a series starring babies who play the stock market, features a boy apologizing to his girlfriend via video chat for not calling her the night before.

"And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn't over?" the baby girl asks him suspiciously.

"Lindsay?" the boy responds, just before a baby girl sticks her head into the frame and slurs: "Milk-a-what?"

Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, claimed that Lohan has the same single-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna.

"Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit," Ovadia was quoted as saying.

"They used the name Lindsay," Ovadia stated. "They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."

Ovadia wants an injunction to force the commercial off the air and the Lindsay camp wants every last copy of the commercial.

Chris Brown, a spokesman for Grey Group, which produced the Etrade commercial, is throwing cold milk on the controversy, adding it "just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team."

Ovadia insisted E-Trade has violated Lohan's rights under New York state civil-rights law and used her "name and characterization" in business without paying her or getting her approval.

The lawyer revealed that since the commercial was seen by hundreds of millions of people watching the "Super Bowl" and "Winter Olympics finals", the firm has garnered great profits. She claims Lohan is owed $50 million in exemplary damages, plus another $50 million in compensatory damages.

According to a court document obtained by "Radar Online", the lawsuit was withdrawn with prejudice on Monday. Lohan had filed the suit in March, at which time the "Hollywood Reporter" had some amusing theories as to why she'd bothered. This was right after Ungaro dumped her but before she started missing depositions in a civil case related to one of her 2007 DUI arrests.

The document reflects no costs or fees assigned to either party, but an unnamed source told TMZ that Lindsay made some money out of the deal.

It appears Lindsay beleives that all the world turns around her. Despite the fact that two years have passed after the "Super Bowl" commercial and the following lawsuit by Lindsay it shows how narcissistic and greedy Lindsay is. What do you think?

It is well known that Lindsay Lohan has been in some odd legal situations over the years.

It has to be noted that Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against eTrades and Pitbull in the past, insisting her image was misappropriated in the former’s popular "milkaholic" commercial and in a rap song by the hip-hop artist.

That latter case was on shaky ground due to Pitbull’s free speech rights. But Lindsay Lohan’s attorney might have showed a completely new crisis to watch. Stephanie Ovadia, Lindsay Lohan's attorney, has been charged of plagiarizing much of her current legal brief from newspapers, law firms, and other education websites.

The question is: Who is Lindsay Lohan's attorney? Check out below for more information.

Does Lindsay Lohan Have Breast Implants ?

To contact us Click HERE
There is speculation that Lindsay Lohan has breast implants.

Multiple celebrity blogs and plastic surgery websites have articles discussing about Lindsay Lohan’s supposed breast implants. The question is: "Does Lindsay Lohan have breast implants?"

The before & after photos are obviously an indication (or  a "proof") that she actually has breast implants. But of course -as most celebrities - Lindsay denies it. To be more exact, in her GQ magazine interview she insists her breasts are natural: "I like my body and my breasts. And no, they’re not fake."

Lindsay attributed her sudden breast growth to genes!

But only plastic surgery could explain the miraculous expansion of her breasts by one or two cup sizes. Moreover, Lindsay’s thin body is in striking opposition to her voluptuous breasts, suggesting this lack of proportion between her breasts and body was achieved with the help of cosmetic surgery.

According to the plastic surgery website Awfulplasticsurgery.com: "The mystery of Lindsay Lohan’s shrinking breasts has already been explored, but further revelations (courtsey of Lindsay’s stylist) show that not only do her breasts appear smaller, there is a small weird dent under one of her boobs (Does the other one have a dent? Maybe photos shot from the other side will surface.) Could the origins of this odd scarring be surgical in natural? Hmmmm.."

When women have breast implants there can tend to be noticeable indentations, or ripples, or other shapes in the breast that are apparently not natural.

It is rumored that Lindsay had her first breast implants when she reached 17. Some sources claim that Lohan subsequently got breast implants twice to improve her breasts and achieve a more "natural" look. Responding to these rumors, Lindsay replied that she was a late bloomer who happened to develop her chest at 17.

"I developed very late in high school. When I was 16, I still had baby fat. I didn’t get my chest until I was 17, so that made me feel insecure. I used to feel like I had to stuff my bra," was quoted as saying Lindsay Lohan in an interview with "Cosmo Girl".

While it is normal for adolescents to develop their breasts in their late teens, Lindsay’s ballooning from complete flat territory to her current breast size of generous 34C seems unlikely without going under the knife. Real or fake, Lindsay Lohan's breast implants appear convincingly natural and had she not been a celebrity whose every move is caught on camera, only the trained eye would guess her breasts are implants.

By taking a look at the pic right above, it looks like Lindsay Lohan's breasts are looking MASSIVE! It has to be added that Lindsay doesn't even wear a bra!

So, the question is: Does Lindsay Lohan have breast implants?

1. I like music that's more offensive. I like it to sound like nails on a blackboard, get me wild.

2. Nobody understands me, I'm really sensitive. Everyone thinks I should be so happy, fucking all these chicks, and all the drugs and being a star. But I hurt. And I'm lonely.

3. What did Christ really do? He hung out with hard-drinking fishermen.

4. I never believed that U2 wanted to save the whales. I don't believe that The Beastie Boys are ready to lay it down for Tibet.

5. Well, I don't use the toilet much to pee in. I almost always pee in the yard or the garden, because I like to pee on my estate.

6. I stare at myself in the mirror and I think: "Wow, I'm really great-looking."… I think I'm the greatest, anyway.

7. If I don't terrorize, I'm not Pop.

8. Look, you're here to see me, and I can't go on until my dealer is here, and he's waiting to be paid, so give me some money so I can fix up, and then you'll get your show.

9. She looked at me penetratingly. So I suppose you can figure out what happened next.

10. Well, the stuff that has become more commercial doesn't have any edge.

11. I feel like God peed on all my enemies. For a long time I was very bitter that the people who controlled the means of anybody ever hearing my songs were never gonna play them. They only favored music that I specifically and particularly hated, and I wanted them dead. Suddenly, there was another avenue. I started hearing my stuff coming out of bars and then it started to happen little by little - a movie song here or a TV ad there.

12. You know, I'm fifty-two now and I call myself a singer. Before I kick it I want to be able to carry a tune in a living room if called upon. Of course, mine come out all dark and twisted and weird.

13. Everybody's a little more worldly now, and there's more exposure to things. When I made Fun House, back in 1970, nobody wanted to interview me. It was wonderful. I was like one of those little white things you find living under rocks, that every once in a while people pull up by mistake and go: "aagh!" But now everybody has a video camera, and that may have changed the nature of "the message from below," as it were.

14. This town is diverse as shit. I like it here a lot. (on Miami)

15. Yeah, she's heard the war stories ... I tell it all to her. I think one has to, because one wants to know somebody, and one wants to feel that somebody knows one. I mean, the embarrassment quotient has been going down for a long time, and the fond amusement has been rising. (On discussing his past escapades with his girlfriend.)

16. As society has changed, what had formerly been unacceptable has become colorful, even the broken-glass thing. Although, you know, there's an archetypal element to that anyway. ... It's about the blood ... The Christians used that riff with Christ. What did Christ really do? He hung out with hard-drinking fishermen. And when they asked him: "Why are you hanging out with prostitutes and fishermen?" he said: "Because they need me." What a line, you know? But what your martial society really wants is blood. We need some blood. We need some suffering. Like, the individual must suffer for the good of the whole. I toy around with that. Early on, I wasn't looking at Jesus Christ, saying to myself: "What an angle." I wasn't trying to be Christ-y. But, after all, on one level, this is showbiz. (On his stage performances, including acts where he would crawl and roll on broken glass)

17. You say I look goofy? OK, great. You say it's comedy? Great. Whatever anyone thought, I didn't care. Could be goony, could be sexy, could be stupid, could be cool. I didn't know, but as long as it was something, you know? (On his performances)

18. Bowie's a real man, and I'm a real woman - just like Catherine Deneuve.

19. This is the key thing that has always been misunderstood about me. All this fucking crap they said I did ... I only did it because I believed I was playing the actual music that was appropriate and good to reflect that time and place. ... Frankly, I've always felt I was completely innocent.

20. I used to catch myself - maybe we'd be having dinner with the future king of Spain, and I'd be grumpy, like, "What are we doing here, hanging out with these swells?" And then, right away, I'd realize, "Dude, you're jealous." It got very hard on a certain level. He was a person of affairs, in the worldly sense, with a lot of choices laid out on his smorgasbord. I had no choices whatsoever. I was a pariah. But a very fortunate one, in that he saw something worthwhile in me, and he made me two terrific records. He gave me the break I needed to continue living life. He is my benefactor. (On his relations with David Bowie)

21. I've never had any sort of macho revulsion of fags, but Bowie and I - never, never, never, never. Everybody would think that, but I never saw him be that way anyway. I'll tell you this. That guy got more p-u-s-s-y. I couldn't believe it. Talk about a bitch magnet. Damn! Actresses, heiresses, waitresses, skateresses. And me? I was just left holding my dick most of the time. I had this short haircut, and I looked like a duck. But I got lucky sometimes. I got a good song out of a girl I was knocking off at the time, and it became "China Girl." (On rumours that he and Bowie were lovers.)

22. I'm really not good with the pickups. I'm a klutz and don't have a line of gab. I'm only good if they know who I am. So I'll just sit and wait for somebody to say: "Aren't you ... ?" and then go from there.

23. Have you ever noticed that a small creature, like a mouse or a mole, when faced with danger, they just stop? I've had big, long periods in my life when I was a lot like that. I just froze. It was not fun, but it was what I thought I had to do. And that's how I lived, pretty much, at one time. I have a hot memory, but I know I've forgotten many things, too, just squashed things in favor of survival. The only thing missing from my life right now is what I've got, and it's peace. I have more than I ever had ... and not as much as I would like.

24. You write about things of importance to you. And it's gotta be for real. Do I think about my dick? Oh, yeah, all the time. If I think about it all the time, I got a right to sing about it. If I wasn't thinking about it all the time but thought: "It's time to write a rock song, I'd better mention my dick," then I wouldn't even be able to say "dick" right. Besides, it's an ecological line. It's not: "My dick is all bad, motherfucker, wickety wackety woo." It's nature-oriented. (Pauses, looking serious, then laughs) It is!

25. I'm not ashamed to dress "like a woman" because I don't think it's shameful to be a woman.

26. I think that all the years of exposure to amps and electricity has altered my body chemistry.

27. They say that death kills you, But death doesn't kill you. Boredom and indifference kill you.

28. I've probably been spit on more that any person alive outside of, I would say, a member of the prison system.

29. Nihilism is best done by professionals.

30. That band could kill any band at the time and frankly can just kill any bands that built on this work since…just eat any of those poodles (on his band The Stooges.)

31. I can't do it all myself. I'm not that kind of artist, I'm the kind of artist who works off other people best. It was like playing with Tinker toys or dominoes, trying to get all the pieces to fit like a jigsaw puzzle so I'd have a whole portrait but it would still have many facets.

32. The most successful stuff is sold to you as indispensable social information. The message in the music is: "We are terribly, terribly slick and suave, and if you listen to us, you can probably get a leg up in society, too". (on modern music)

33. Punk rock is a word used by dilettantes and heartless manipulators about music that takes up the energies, the bodies, the hearts, the souls, the time and the minds of young men who give everything they have to it.(1977)

34. I don't know Johnny Rotten, but I'm sure he puts as much blood and sweat into what he does as Sigmund Freud did.

35. The industrialism in Detroit...what I heard walking around...boom boom bah - 10 cars...boom boom bah - 20 cars...I get a lot of my influence from the electric shaver…
(When asked by Dinah Shore what influenced his music)

36. I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else’s car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.

37. What I do on stage has utterly no purpose.
